Privacy

Short version: the converter processes your files entirely in your browser. We never receive, store or see your bank data.

Files you convert

• When you choose or drop a file, your browser reads it into memory on your device. Parsing, previewing and generating QBO/QFX/OFX/QIF/CSV all happen in JavaScript running locally.
• The site has no upload endpoint and no server-side code. It is a set of static files.
• Downloads are created on your device. Closing or reloading the tab discards the data.
• You can check this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and convert a file. You'll see no request carrying your data.

Calculators

The calculators work the same way: the numbers you type are processed by JavaScript on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else.

Pro license keys

If you buy Pro, you enter a license key from your receipt. To check it, your browser sends only the key and our product ID to Gumroad's license verification service (api.gumroad.com). No transaction data is ever sent. A verified key is saved in your browser's local storage so you don't have to enter it again; use "Remove license from this browser" to delete it. Purchases are handled by Gumroad under Gumroad's privacy policy.

Analytics and cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising trackers. If we add privacy-friendly, cookie-free visit counting, it will be listed here, and it will never see the contents of your files.

Hosting

The site is served as static files by a hosting/CDN provider, which may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability. Those logs never contain your files.

Guides may contain labelled affiliate links. Clicking one takes you to the other company's site, where their privacy policy applies. See our affiliate disclosure.
